槟岛闽南聚落日落洞之重要村镇组织元素探究

摘要：本文以血缘组织、民间信仰和华文学校三个马来西亚华人村镇的组织元素为讨论的要素，来呈现一个位于槟城，由占华人人口90%的闽南人组成，名为日落洞的聚落的发展轨迹。这里共有七个血缘组织，以闽南籍贯为主，同时也展现海外华人移民的特色，即以生存互助为主，难以讲究血缘关系，属于同姓氏者的组合体。信仰方面该聚落共有七间百年老庙，也是以闽南神祇为主，然而却可满足各个不同群体的需要。日落洞华人密集的地区“大路后”，在方圆两三公里之内，共有十间华文小学，密度委实惊人，这些华小之间距离最近的仅相隔一条街道，或只有数百步之遥。这些现象将在文中有细致的论述。

A Study of Important Elements of Village Organization of Jelutong，A Minnan Settlement in Penang Island

Abstract：In this paper，the organizational elements of three Chinese Malaysian villages will be discussed in terms of consanguineous organizations， traditional beliefs and Chinese schools to present the development history of Jelutong，a settlement in Penang，of which 90% of the residents are Minnan people. There are seven consanguineous organizations who are primarily of Minnan descent. These organizations have demonstrated the characteristics of oversea Chinese immigration，which is primarily based on mutual help. They are a community of people who share the same surname，but with complicated consanguineous relationships. Regarding the traditional beliefs，there are seven century-old temples dedicated to Minnan deities，yet the temples are able to satisfy the needs of different communities. Within the radius of two to three kilometers of the densely populated Chinese community area at Jalan Perak， Jelutong，there are a total of ten Chinese primary schools. The shortest distance between two schools is just across a street，or within a few hundred paces. These phenomena will be discussed in detail in this paper.
