谭云山家族与中印文化交流

摘要：在中印文化交流史乃至国际文化交流史上,谭云山家族是一个独特的现象。湘籍华人谭云山旅印55年,不仅倾尽毕生精力致力于中印文化交流,并举家族之力成就此事业。谭氏家族出现了“子承父业”和两代“夫妻同行”的家学传统。谭云山、谭中父子两代华侨华人学者以治学搭建中印文化交流的桥梁,从“中印学”的历史建构到“中印大同”的宏大愿景,倡导新型地缘文明范式,逐步拓展中印研究和中印文化交流的空间与路径,实现中印两国思想之会通,力图打开中印两国互相理解的通道,共谋和谐发展,并惠泽世界和平。谭氏家族堪称华侨华人“文化报国”的典范,谭云山精神在当下焕发出新的生命力。以谭云山为代表的华人的天下情怀,以及“大同”理想亦当成为新时代华侨华人精神世界的航标。

Tan Yunshan’s Family and Cultural Communication Between China and India

Abstract: Tan Yunshan’s family could be seen as a unique phenomenon in the history of Sino-India cultural communication and even in the history of international cultural communication. Living in India for 55 years, Tan Yunshan was completely devoted to Sino-India cultural communication, and accomplished the scared career with the support of his family. In Tan’s family, the son followed father’s career and the couples engaged in same career within two-generation. Tan Yunshan and Tan Zhong, as two generations of overseas Chinese scholars, built the academic bridge of Sino-Indian cultural communication. From the historical construction of “Sino-India studies” to the grand vision of “Chindia”, Tan’s Family advocated the new geographical civilizational paradigm, gradually developed the space and path for Sino-India research and Sino-Indian cultural communication, realized the complete understanding of thoughts of both countries, attempted to open the way of mutual understanding for both countries, sought harmonious co-development, and benefited the world peace. Tan’s Family built the example of “ Serve the country with culture” among overseas Chinese, and the spirit of Tan Yunshan is now coruscate new vitality. The feelings for the world among overseas Chinese represented by Tan Yunshan and the idea of “Da Tong” (great unity) should become an object of inner world of overseas Chinese in the new age.
