Abstract:Taiwan’s Council for Hakka Affairs aims to construct an imagined community in cyberspace based on common Hakka cultural interest and ethnic awareness so as to promote Hakka Taiwan as a home of Hakka studies and to showcase Hakka culture. Its Global Website aims to help global members (Hakka overseas associations) to communicate, share and rediscover their precious cultural assets; incorporate the daily needs of the community into the website content to organize cultural activities; and to integrate the online and offline worlds into our everyday living.
