《叻报》中所见1891年马六甲王船祭珍贵史料述评

摘 要 伴随着更多相关资料的被挖掘，重新建构马六甲王船祭暨王舡大游行谱系与恢复更完整的历史面貌指日可待。以新加坡出版和行销最久的中文日报《叻报》为例，该报分别于光绪十七年（1891）4月份与7月份所登载的马六甲《神船逐疫》新闻报道，即保存了这一年举办王船祭的珍贵史料，据之得以与过去已知的相关史料比较、补充和更正。青云亭聘人整理并将逐步公开的1905年马六甲王船祭相关史料，对重构1933年之前的三次王船祭暨王舡大游行谱系及恢复其历史面貌甚有助益。

Valuable Records of 1891 Wang Kang Procession As Seen in Singapore Lat Pau: A Commentary

 Abstract: Following ‘excavate’ of new and valuable historical materials, particularly news carried by Lat Pau (Singapore oldest published Chinese daily) related to Malacca Wang Kang procession held in 1891, had ‘uncovered ‘ for the first-time text of the 1891 Wang kang’s details that enabled us to compare, acquire added knowledge, or even correction of errors found in previous studies. Recent Cheng Hoon Teng’s effort in sorting the 1905 Wang Kang Procession materials yet to made public, will help contribute towards reconstruction of a more complete historical outlook of the last three Malacca Wang Kang Processions prior to the one held in 1933.
