从马来亚雪兰莪保良局谈英殖民时期女性的保护（1899—1941）

摘要：这篇论文主要探讨马来亚在英国殖民时期对女性，尤其是华人女性的保护措施，雪兰莪保良局是这篇论文讨论的重点。雪兰莪保良局是马来州属最早成立的保良局，但比成立于1888年的新加坡和槟城的保良局晚了11年。目前，尚未见到任何讨论马来州属保良局的学术论文或专著。这篇论文使用了大量的英文官方档案和当时的中文报章，梳理19世纪末至二战前有关女性保护的政策，并探讨雪兰莪保良局的成立及功能，以了解当时底层女性的生活。

The Study of Women Protection during British Colonial Period through Selangor’s Pok Leung Kok，Malaya（1899 -1941）

Abstract：The purpose of the paper is to study protection of female，especially Chinese female during British colonial periods. Poh Leung Kok in Selangor is the focal of the study. Poh Leung Kok in Selangor was the earliest Poh Leung Kok established in Malay States，11 years after Poh Leung Kok founded in Singapore and Penang. Since now，that is not specific academic research on Poh Leung Kok in Malay States. The paper has utilized numbers of British official records and Chinese newspaper at the period，to probe into the research of female protection policy from 19th century until the Second World War Two. Besides，the paper also discuss the establishments of Selangor’s oh Leung Kok and its function，to build up the life of the female from below.
